Where we win
- Text size you control. Four sizes, from normal to very large, with the cards growing too. Cribbage JD advertises large cards, but we found no text-size setting.
- Nothing to sign up for, nothing to buy. No profile, no coins and no store. The game saves in your browser so you can pick it up later.
- A review of your throw. After every hand we show what your throw to the crib was worth on average and the best one, so you learn as you play.
- Two players on one device. A cover screen hides each hand while you pass the tablet.
Where Cribbage JD wins
- Online play and ratings. Casual and rated games against real people, an Elo rating, ranks from Bronze to Grand Master and a leaderboard. We don’t have online play or ratings yet.
- Tournaments. Live tournaments with a host on tournamentjd.com.
- More computer levels. Eight, up to Impossible, to our four.
- Apps. iPhone and iPad, Android and Windows, which play offline. We are browser only.
